PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING ANY ANIMAL(S)
I take rehoming animals very seriously as these are not "beginner pets" and require the utmost attention to detail to their environment and care in order to thrive. Due to this, I reserve the right to refuse sale if I feel it is not a good fit for the animals well being.
I uphold tremendous respect for the species I work with and do my best to make sure the new homes my animals are going to are a suitable fit for the animals.

**By purchasing any of Coastline Canopy's animals, you are agreeing to never keep the animal(s) in enrichment-denying, minimalistic small containers/tubs or basic enclosures that deny the animal(s) stimulation and enrichment. You are agreeing that you recognize the importance of you, as the caretaker, providing optimal conditions for your ectothermic friend(s), and are agreeing to the importance of environmental needs and enrichment for the animal(s). You are agreeing to taking care of the animal(s) to the best of your abilities, by providing the ideal environment (lighting, heating, humidity, hydration, substrate, climbing surfaces, hides, etc.), diet and overall care.**

Payments & Placing Animals On Hold
EMT, Cash, PayPal (Friends & Family) and Square are are all accepted forms of payment.
Prices on unsold geckos are subject to change as the animal progresses. Square payments have a 2.9% transaction fee added on to the purchase total.
Prices are not negotiable.
Payment plans are available for purchases over $250CAD. A payment plan must be agreed upon with both seller and buyer. A hold deposit is also required before any animal(s) is to be considered placed on hold. A hold deposit is seen as a commitment to buy something and any other interested parties will be turned away.
Holds will require a deposit that is 35% of the listed price and is non-refundable or transferable.
Should the buyer change their mind and wish to no longer receive the animal(s) they've placed on hold/had removed off the website, any deposits will not be refunded.
Payment plans run for 30, 60 and sometimes 90 days, unless otherwise agreed upon.
If the payment plan balance is not completed and paid by the agreed upon date, I will send one reminder message to the buyer. If the buyer does not respond or communicate within a reasonable amount of time, it will result with losing the gecko(s) and any payments made. The gecko(s) will be considered as an "abandoned sale" and the buyer will not receive any refunds.

Shipping
Shipping costs is the buyers responsibility. It is also the buyers responsibility to communicate the weather conditions in the receiving area when arranging shipping dates. I ship through Reptile Express or if you are in the Vancouver area I can ship via Harbor Air as well. I always follow instructions and make sure each package has what is needed like heat packs, ice packs or cryopaks.
*The buyer MUST be available to receive the shipment from FedEx*
Delays are rare but it can happen but it is out of both Reptile Express's and Coastline Canopy's control, it is solely an issue with FEDEX/UPS. As the receiver, you must contact the shipping company if this should happen.
There's no discount or refunds on delays if this were to occur (shippers policy). In effort to avoid any delays, Coastline Canopy will not ship during the week of a stat holiday and prefer to ship Tuesdays at the latest as some FedEx hubs do not deliver on Fridays / weekends should a delay occur.
If the the buyer has not completed the final payment by the agreed upon deadline or close to the shipment date , the shipment will not go out as scheduled and the buyer may still be charged the shipping cost depending on FedEx's policies. All shipping fees received go directly to the shipping company and are not held by Coastline Canopy.
*FREE Harbor Air Shipping: Shipping from Victoria to Vancouver / Richmond Harbor Air Terminal is a short 45 minute flight and the parcel is kept inside their heated terminal locations until it is picked up by the receiver. Proof of ID is required to pickup your parcel. This shipping method is offered all year round (subject to change due to weather) and the shipping cost is covered by Coastline Canopy, as a courtesy, as this shipping method poses the least risk and travel time for the animal. This is not a door to door delivery service, the receiver is required to travel to a Harbor Air terminal of their choice to pick-up the parcel. Please note the free shipping is only offered for live animal shipments and not plant & supplies shipments.

Live Arrival Guarantee
Coastline Canopy guarantees live arrival of your gecko(s). Someone must be present for the delivery of the animal(s) as to avoid them being left to the outdoor elements on the porch. If the buyer is not present to receive the parcel/the parcel is left outside for close to 1 hour, this will void the live arrival guarantee.
I have never experienced a gecko arriving expired, however, if that were to occur it is the buyers responsibility to contact me IMMEDIATLEY upon delivery (within 1 hour of delivery) otherwise any live arrival guarantee will be void. I receive delivery notification right after the shipment has been delivered.
If the receiver is wishing to have the package held at a shipping facility hub, it is their responsibility to pick-up the gecko within a few hours of it arriving or the live arrival guarantee will be void.
In the unlikely event that an animal arrives expired, photographic evidence will be required with the time it was taken. An animal that is DOA will be replaced or a credit will be offered at my discretion. Shipping will not be refunded as those funds go directly to the shipping company for a service that was fulfilled.
Tail loss during transportation will not be refunded or partially reimbursed. Although rare, it can happen but does not impact the geckos health or genetics.
